Dior launches the new Gem Dior Jewellery Collection

Imagined by Victoire de Castellane, artistic director of Dior Joaillerie, the new Gem Dior collection surprises with its organic abstraction, asymmetry effects and its array of colors. It is composed of 11 pieces of jewellery (rings, bands and earrings) in yellow, pink and white gold, entirely or semi-paved with diamonds. Born of a subtle harmony between nature and couture, these pieces, sublimated with ornamental stones, complete the silhouette with a burst of audacity.

Inspired by nature, and in particular by natural minerals, the Gem Dior collection glorifies exceptional savoir-faire perpetuated by impassioned craftsmen. The asymmetrical lines of the jewellery pieces are first revealed through delicate gouaches, meticulous drawings created by the studio. The Ateliers then bring these sketches to life by shaping gold and metals, before placing, like precious punctuation, the malachite, lapis lazuli, cornelian, pink opal and tiger’s eye that adorn the pieces.
