Designers compete to fascinate us and shape our interiors. They come up with ideas for furniture and objects just to beautify our spaces, make our daily lives easier and find practical and innovative solutions. A tour not to be missed of some decoration trends.
Imagined by the French designer Alex de Rouvray, the Mayet coffee table is made of four American walnut veneered tops, fixed on a central column in matte black steel, welded and polished by hand. Like wood petals emanating from a metal trunk, they are spaced out and thus form a spiral staircase floating in the void, an aerial spiral, an architectural plate tectonics.
The duo Anderssen & Voll signs, for Coedition, the Palm Springs collection which includes an armchair, a pouffe, a two and a three seater sofa. Pieces drawing their inspiration from the classic typology of Scandinavian sofas. Metal legs, elegant bronze lacquered finish and seat available in fabric or leather.
Light, delicate and airy, the Baby Table is a Japanese-inspired side table designed as a small
domestic architectural piece by Marco Zanuso Jr. for Coedition. Mounted on a slender,
airy metal base, the ash top has a clean silhouette with a beautiful graphic elegance at each end.

The beautiful balance between the sharp-edged, curved steel tubes and the comfortable
upholstered seat creates a memorable seating experience. Designed by Osko + Deichmann
for Blå Station to add an extra touch to interior spaces, the Superstraw lounge chair becomes
a stylish place to relax.

with wooden structure covered with leather and fabric and metal legs in brushed nickel.
ARP, a collection of outdoor furniture designed by Borja García and Laura Ros of the architecture firm Made Studio for Diabla. Based on a tubular structure in textured powder-coated aluminum – of great expressive, functional and durable range – and a name inspired by the succession of vertical lines, evoking the strings of a harp, the series consists of an armchair, a two-seater sofa and two coffee tables of different sizes.
Designer Frank Jiang created this rectangular table from the Vine collection for Turri, with a wooden structure, solid wood finish and grey walnut veneer. Top and side inserts in bronzed glass, or top only in wood. Base with or without inserts in Nero Portoro marble. Brushed gold metal details.
Designed by Adriano Castiglioni for Zanette, Skin is a custom-made bed whose geometric and contemporary lines are characterized by a padded area on the headboard, covered with leather or fabric, for maximum comfort. Thanks to the adjustable back panel, it is possible to double the sleeping surface and change the configuration of the bed at any time. Available in four different sizes and in a storage version.
Honken has a new offspring with X40 and X46, chairs in two heights for restaurants, conference rooms, as well as for the home. Thomas Bernstrand, who created the original Honken family of one, two and three-seat chairs in collaboration with Stefan Borselius and Johan Lindau, keeps the sturdy metal mesh, letting the steel bars form the legs as well. A slight inclination of the backrest and the inflection of the cantilevered legs provide good comfort. Honken will be equally at home as a stand-alone chair or as part of Blå Station’s modular furniture systems.
The Klee chair by Sebastian Herkner for Coedition is carefully designed. Inspired by a leaf,
its seat is divided into three segments. It is made of solid ash, all wood or fabric upholstered seat.
Its dimensions make it a classically proportioned piece.
Still Life, designed by Marcel Sigel for Blå Station, combines timelessness with a striking
contemporary uniqueness. The first impression of a traditional wooden chair is immediately
offset by the iconic twist of the backrest. The ash veneered birch wood is folded at the ends,
almost like a flowing strip of fabric. Transformed into a bar stool in two heights, it adds a
special touch in restaurants, bars, offices, as well as the home.
Italian designer Luca Nichetto has created a lounge chair for Coedition whose essential round shape creates a certain comfort, enhanced by its injected foam seat, upholstered in fabric or full grain leather. You is a real invitation to a moment of relaxation or reflection, pleasantly housed in its welcoming curves.
The Capricorn dining table by Tom Faulkner features a strong sculptural design with bold curves – a timeless classic silhouette. Available in round, rectangular or oval versions, with wood, marble or glass tops and a wide choice of base finishes.
Designed by Marco Lavit for Ethimo, Hut is an unusual nest with a human dimension, a place of rest and regeneration. Welcoming and comfortable, its wooden structure protects like a shell, becoming a privileged, unique and reserved point of view. Its soft cushions, which complete the plane of the seat, welcome the body, surround and support it.
The Brandt coffee table, designed by Kateryna Sokolova for Noom, is characterized by its minimalist design and a strong attention to detail. Made of stainless steel, its surface is entirely hand-brushed by the craftsmen of the Noom workshop. Its top is supported by three cylindrical legs of different diameters, which makes the model slightly asymmetrical.
The iconic Pergolas collection by José A. Gandia-Blasco is updated with ceramic finishes
from TAU Cerámica and the new bioclimatic roof is designed to create indoor and outdoor
environments equipped and personalized. The roof as well as the different closing devices,
such as fixed horizontal and vertical slats, blinds and curtains in plastic and acrylic fabric,
are available in a multitude of finishes to offer an excellent level of quality, durability,
resistance and customization.
With Lilly, Democràcia Estudio pays homage to the designer, architect and Bauhaus teacher
Lilly Reich (1885-1947). Its creative team designed two chairs for Diabla, available with or
without armrests, whose aesthetic choices make them light and easy to move: a clear and legible
design thanks to the stainless steel structure that emphasizes the shapes; a seat with a removable
foam cover; and a flexible backrest for greater comfort.
Patricia Urquiola signs, for Coedition, an almost zoomorphic armchair, chubby and exuberant with generous and playful proportions, especially at the level of its seat, guaranteeing an extreme comfort. Dalya is available in several variants. Structure in solid ash, natural or stained black or solid beech lacquered red. Seat in fabric available in different colors for a successful marriage with the wooden structure.
Gerrit sideboard designed to be contemporary, huge and elegant at the same time. Designed by Kateryna Sokolova for Noom, it is made of metal and has four drawers. The illusion of graphic lines on the front is generated by the notches between the drawers. The hand-brushed pattern on the stainless steel surface creates the illusion of water ripples.
Melting Light is the first chair collection, designed by Frank Jiang for Turri, made of solid wood and veneer. Available with leather or wood back and leather or fabric cushions.
Born from the collaboration between Ethimo and Patrick Norguet, the new poufs of the Swing
collection with a circular design for outdoor living spaces, offer the possibility to relax on an
additional seat. Available with a natural or stripped teak structure and in white or black painted
metal, they are offered in three diameters and each version in two heights.
The new series of outdoor furniture Capa, by Søren Rose for Gandiablasco, is composed of an armchair and a two-seater sofa with a structure in thermo-lacquered welded aluminum, combined with an iron in the same material with simple bars and curved edges. The armrests can be optionally realized in the innovative material Dekton by Cosentino or add extra warmth to the collection with iroko wood. The upholstery of the cushions, seats and backs is removable and available in a huge variety of colors.
Designed by Marcello Ziliani for Ethimo, the Kilt range has been enriched with a new element, the Love Seat. Its seat with its enveloping silhouette, which takes shape from a dense weave of elegantly braided ropes inspired by traditional Scottish clothing, is reinterpreted to create an elegant “loveseat”, ideal for enhancing and making more intimate the spaces dedicated to moments of relaxation or pleasant sharing in the open air.
Buit, the first collaboration between Mayice Studio and Gandiablasco, includes two versatile, functional and revolutionary pieces: a club chair and a coffee table that can be transformed into a pouffe. Buit, meaning void in Valencian, starts from a curved aluminum mesh to form sinuous elements with a sculptural appearance. The series offers a modular system that can be integrated into any space and allows for multiple configurations.
The new Ribot stool, designed by Marc Sadler for Ethimo, comes in two heights, each for
a different use: the bar stool, a high chair created to fit high tables and counters; the counter
stool,an ideal version to complement tables, outdoor kitchens with an island or other dining
areas, where the support surface is designed so that it can be accessed both sitting and standing.
The distinctive aesthetic feature of the Mercury collection is achieved by combining the matte lacquered structure and the upholstered surfaces. These two elements create an aesthetic and functional continuum, framing the base and headboard with clean, geometric and diagonal lines. The upholstery is especially thick and can be covered in a wide range of fabrics and leathers with tone-on-tone stitching. Available in four different sizes.
