Victor Carrasco is one of the rising stars of Iberian design. A designer as talented as he is versatile, he shines in the production of high added value pieces, thus offering an original and dynamic alternative to furniture and everyday objects. A true jack-of-all-trades, he uses his imagination to design tables, chairs and other accessories that constantly push the boundaries.

Simplicity, quality, creativity and differentiation. These are the pillars on which the reputation of Spanish designer Victor Carrasco has been built. Born in Valencia in 1974, he began his professional career just after obtaining, with honors, his engineering degree in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. For his final study project, submitted to the jury in 2000, he developed and created the Viccarbe brand which received, eight years later, the prestigious Prince Felipe Business Excellence Award, the youngest company to ever have won this award distinction. Deeply influenced by his grandfather, also an engineer and with whom, as a child, he spent his time fixing and reinventing objects, the designer has, since his beginnings, applied his own philosophy, developing and positioning international brands while surfing on his passion for synthesis, sustainable growth and his pragmatic vision of the future.

Indeed, since 2007, Carrasco has combined his position of strategic director of Viccarbe with that of design director for the famous American multinational Coalesse/Steelcase. Star among the stars of the sector, he proposes furniture, decorative objects, carpets and even packaging imagined and designed for major labels and not only Spanish. He thus multiplies his collaborations with many world-renowned companies, such as, among others, Boffi, Glas Italia for whom he develops the collection of Trim tables entirely composed of glass with irregularly bevelled edges, Gandiablasco, Living Divani, LZF and Vibia. Characterized by the elegance of their lines, the sense of innovation and their great simplicity, his creations reflect a particular aesthetic and identity. Among them is Serra, a sculptural side table with thermoset epoxy lacquered calibrated steel base, designed to be easily transported thanks to a high resistance technical textile band.

To his credit, too, Klip, a chair in plywood oak, designed to adapt to all types of environment. Presented at the Fuorisalone in Milan, designed for Paola Lenti, the Amable chair earned the German Design Award 2018. Predestined for furnishing convivial spaces, it stands out with its removable and repositionable seat on the material shell plastic, made with a rope thread sewn in a spiral. However, his iconic Maarten chair, a pretty bestseller designed in homage to the Belgian industrial designer Maarten van Severen, becomes iconic. His creations also include the Balance carpet edition, for the famous Swiss house Ruckstuhl, or the packaging of the new white chocolate bar with Uji matcha tea, proposed by the brand Godiva The Tablet and sold in limited quantities in Japan.
