Lebanese interior architect and product designer Richard Yasmine breathes an air of vitality and dynamic energy into his 2020 monochromatic After Ago series, with After Ago Alight luminaires.

Following the success of the After Ago 2020 collection, our latest contribution, After Ago Alight seamlessly continues the narrative of our emotionally resonant objects, rising above functionality to embrace a new dimension of illumination. Drawing inspiration from the essence of its predecessor, After Ago Alight remains rooted in architectural boldness while infusing an additional perspective into its design. In this iteration, the collection is enriched with the warmth and texture of our signature jute fringes, introducing an organic component to the sleek lines reminiscent of the beloved Lampe shades of yesteryears. Vibrant hues now replace the once monochromatic stripes, injecting each piece with a dynamic energy and newfound vitality. Meticulously handcrafted and hand-painted with the subtle touch of imperfection, every fixture within the collection emanates a profound sense of craftsmanship. Ranging from shorter to taller floor lamps, the pieces are designed to illuminate spaces with a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. After Ago Alight serves as a guiding light of transformation and regeneration, inviting introspection and contemplation through its interplay of light and shadow, texture, and contrasting colors. Metaphorically embodying enlightenment and the essence of renewal, Alight calls upon individuals to embark on a transformative journey into the depths of their consciousness, uncovering new insights. By embracing this exploration, individuals are inspired to evolve in synchrony with their environment, fostering a deeper connection and harmony with the world around them, manifesting the resilient spirit of adaptation and evolution. This holistic approach in transforming the previous After Ago into lighting fixtures serves as a testament to the enduring power of creativity and imagination, illuminating even the darkest of times.
