The luminous energy of Le Studio / L’Appartement designed by Diana Ghandour

In the vibrant heart of of Gemmayzeh, Beirut, interior designer Diana Ghandour has created her own working office, aptly named Le Studio / L’Appartement, where conviviality and creativity intertwine. Nestled in a carefully restored 1950s building, the space embodies a dialogue between tradition and modernity.
Designed as a sanctuary for creation and sharing, Le Studio / L’Appartement is much more than Diana Ghandour’s simple office. Indeed, the designer has imagined this place as a true showcase of expression, highlighting the talent of her favorite artists and designers. The space brings together a refined selection of vintage pieces, contemporary designs and re-editions, where each object tells a story. It’s a living scene, a changing tableau, where art and material are in constant dialogue. The result is a convivial studio with luminous architecture that, behind the sober facade of a typical Gemmayzeh building, hides its secret: a world of subtle yet bold contrasts. Setting the tone, the large windows that bathe the interiors in natural light sublimate noble materials: the patina of French walnut clashes harmoniously with the finesse of marble. The color palette explores shades of petrol blue, mustard yellow and velvety burgundy, giving the whole a warm and dynamic atmosphere. Conceived as a meeting place, Le Studio welcomes anyone with a passion for design in search of renewal and exchange. Between a library with a bold palette and a sculptural bar, the eye lingers, discovers and questions. In short, a project that reinvents domestic and professional spaces, merging them into an environment where aesthetics and functionality enhance each other, where imagination and playfulness intertwine, to offer the most adventurous of its visitors an unparalleled sensory experience.
